Musselman Arch
Near Moab, Utah, a couple of miles off of the Shafer Trail, Musselman Arch can be found. It’s an interesting arch, unlike many of the more popular arches in the area. It has a span of about 36 meters (120 feet), and can easily be walked across. Now, maybe it’s because I had an engineer father, or a fear of heights, but when I look at something like this, I find myself wondering “when is this thing going to collapse?” But I none the less threw caution to the wind (luckily it was calm though) and crossed anyway:

Nice way to see this, I certainly wouldn’t walk across the arch. Nice work.

That is amazing! This is one I had not seen! Thanks again for a fantastic journey that i would not be able to do! Must have taken “huevos grandes” to walk across that. R

Hi Don, and thanks so much. Just the other day, I saw a couple of photos of someone riding their MOTORCYCLE across this bridge, which I couldn’t/wouldn’t do in a billion years!

Another beautiful spherical, Martin. One of the special things I noticed was the sun sparkling through the thin cloud cover.
Also, the jet contrail provides an interesting juxtaposition with the rock formation that is probably 1 million years old. I think that a spherical pano is the best way (other than actually being there) to get this feeling of wonderment: modern visiting ancient.
I look forward to your next spherical.

Hi Gregg,
Good to hear from you! I was lucky to have clouds that day that worked so well, it certainly beats a cloudless sky. I do agree, sphericals are the next best thing to being there!
