Bryce Canyon by Moonlight

Bryce Canyon in Utah offers short and long hiking trails through its fairy-like landscape.
This view, under the light of the moon, is along the Queen's Garden Trail. Ebenenezer Bryce, who homesteaded this area in 1874, called it "a hell of a place to lose a cow".

Peeking through the clouds above, one can find Orion, the Big Dipper, and a partial lunar halo. - Martin van Hemert
