Zion National Park - Zion Narrows
The Narrows in Zion National Park is considered one of the premier hikes in North America, and draws people from all over the world. Following the Virgin River northward, Zion Canyon gradually narrows, the footpath ends, and the river itself becomes the path, winding through towering sandstone cliffs with hanging gardens overhead. This panorama features one of the wider, more open sections of the trek during wintertime. Hiking this river during winter requires a little extra gear, and the folks at Zion Adventure Co.
