Storm Mountain

Salt Lake City is situated against the Wasatch Range of the Rocky Mountains, which contains several canyons each having a unique flavor.  This view is of Storm Mountain at the lower end of  Big Cottonwood Canyon.

This area is less than 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake (and 6 minutes from the nearest 7-11 store, a sure sign of civilization).
