Orion Sets Over Goblin Valley
It sounds like a mystery novel or something doesn’t it? Orion is one of the most prominent constellations in the night sky, and is visible in the opening view of this panorama of Goblin Valley:
Goblin Valley, near the metropolis of Hanksville (population 219) is just simply a cool (or insert your own adjective) place. Kids absolutely love it, as the pint-size rock formations are perfect to climb on, and it’s enchanting for the rest of us as well. The very bright “star” in the west is Venus.
Thanks for viewing!

Hi Shirley,
Thank you for your kind words. This panorama started out with the idea of showing Orion low in the sky. The decision of where to shoot it came later.
Best,
Martin
